コンパスのマークの由来
コンパスのマークはイギリスの画家ウィリアム・ブレイク（１７５７－１８２７）の作品に由来します。
あらゆる物を作る際に用いられる古来からの測定ツールです。
コンパスには目盛りがありません。
それはあらゆる単位系から解放され、自由にそこにある実存する寸法を愚直に拾い上げます。
私はプロジェクトの提示を受けると必ずその土地の記憶を探ります。
かつてこの土地は何であったか？
そして今そこに何を創造するべきか？
あらゆる動的な変化のインターフェースとして、実存していた空間と実存する空間の差異を表象することを「インタースケール」と名付け、これを会社のシンボルマークと社名にしました。

Origin of the Compass Mark
The compass mark derives from a work by the English painter William Blake (1757–1827).
The compass is an ancient measuring tool, used in making all kinds of things.
A compass has no scale.
Free of every system of units, it simply and faithfully picks up the actual dimensions that exist there.
Whenever I receive a project, I always explore the memory of the land.
What was this land once? And what should be created there now?
I named the representation of the difference between the space that once existed and the space that exists — an interface for every dynamic change — "Interscale."
It became the company's symbol mark and name.
